Importance Of Incorporating SEO In Web Design

It is essential for every company to have an online presence in today’s competitive market. People search for almost everything online. Research has shown users execute at least one search before making most purchase decisions.

When some designers build websites for customers, they don’t pay attention to the SEO requirements of the site, instead they separate design and SEO but this is a big mistake. If you spend a lot to design your website but if no one knows your website there is no point. As a business owner you must confirm that SEO is not being overlooked by your web designer or developer.

SEO and web design must go hand in hand. Many web designers these days are including SEO in the web design process. However, many companies do not understand the significance of the role SEO plays in your website design, and disregard the value SEO could bring to their website while in the designing stages.

You can attain a good traffic to your site if it has an SEO friendly web design. For example, many companies make a site look "good" but are not search engine friendly. If your website design uses many of these technologies, then you may either be obstructing or slowing down a search engine when it tries to access the content on your website. If a search engine cannot promptly and easily access content on your website, it is unlikely to rank high in search results. Implementing SEO best practices in your website goes ahead of just content and linking. It needs to crop up with technology decisions, site architecture, navigation and more. And this is where SEO can play an essential role in your website design.

Some of the key aspects of SEO web design comprise faster loading pages, optimized graphic images, keyword rich web copy, intuitive navigational structure, solid web architecture, optimized internal linking, etc. Of course, all these factors will contribute to giving you a strong web existence on the Internet.

SEO is as vital to creating a website as the design itself. If the website is designed, keeping SEO in mind, then the page will start ranking from the time of its existence and will draw visitors from search engines. If SEO were included from the web design stage, then you would be spending less time and money in undoing what is previously done and adding newer search engine friendly things to get your page ranking.
